Our Cased Hole Assistants perform entry level duties under direct supervision that mainly consists of servicing and maintaining downhole tools and equipment. The Cased Hole Assistant will travel to lease locations throughout the Province with self contained equipment to serve client needs.

The Position:
As the Cased Hole Assistant, you will work in a team environment under direct supervision of the Cased Hole Supervisor. You will assist with pre-job preparation, set up and rig out of Cased Hole equipment. Some of tasks include;

 Actively and proactively participate in all training courses and/or informal shop training as outlined by the Operation Center Manager
 Prepares, checks, and loads tools and equipment as required with Supervisor
 Assists with rigging in and out equipment – changes tools as required
 Drives trucks (wireline, crane and/or pickups) or equipment (forklift, bobcat, etc.) as directed, safely and within the law
 Assists the Supervisor in spotting the Unit, watching for hazards (lines, guide wires, testers) and identifying wind direction
 Takes pressure of tubing/casing from the needle valve on the well head using electronic deadweight with supervision
 Assembles pressure control equipment and tools. Makes all required connections under direct supervision
 Performs and completes pre and post trip inspections

The Candidate:

 Posses a valid Class 3 Driver’s License
 Possess required safety tickets (Alberta or B.C. First Aid, H2S Alive, PST/CSTS)
